    I am very disappointed to share that my experience at this automotive shop has been the worst experience I've ever had from any automotive shop. I experienced a wide range of unprofessional customer service from being told different prices by the same person to being talked to with disrespect and tones of annoyance. Let me be very detailed and explain a very stressful day yesterday at Rister's. Before I physically came by the shop, I called a head of time and was connected to Brandon (who I also talked to once I came to the shop). I asked for a price quote concerning a tire plug (considering that I had to have my spare tire placed on my car by Triple A and was told there was one hole in my original wheel) and placing the tire on my car and was told the price was $20 plus tax. I made sure to ask if the price included both the plug needed and placing the tire on my car and was assured that the price was correct! Once I walked into the shop, I was greeted with side eyes and immediate annoyance tones by Brandon. Every question he asked was asked with pure irritation. I'm not sure if they had a long day or if the hot weather affected his tone and responses, but I realized the tone was completely different on the phone than it was once I physically came into the shop (which was only 10 minutes after I called), but I've never been to any Automotive shop and experienced such rudeness and blatant disrespect. Once I explained to him, again, what I needed he took a look at my wheel and said that I needed a plug (which was already known to my knowledge), I was also assured that I needed ONE plug due to a nail's damage then we went into the shop. Not only did the price change, but the price more than doubled. I relayed what was discussed on the phone and he claimed he never said the price was for both the plug and loading the tire on my car which was an obvious lie. I ended up paying the doubled price due to convenience and was played with afterwards. After I paid, he went outside to "check" my wheel again and he brought up me having to pay an additional $20 for another plug since a hole (he didn't seem to see before I paid), he claimed was in my wheel. I refused to pay and that's when Brandon's tone changed from disrespectful to hostile and got really upset because I refused to pay. I have been to 3 different automotive shops for price quotes and all said they can plug the tire yet no one noticed the "extra" hole....I'll let you all determine how that "extra" hole got in my wheel all of a sudden. The mechanic (not Brandon) was very respectful and detailed a better automotive shop which I went to and received phenomenal customer service (Cheapies on Milton RD). I was actually helped and I was safe to get back on the road thanks to them and not to Rister's. I will never step foot back on Rister's Automotive property and I hope anyone that goes knows exactly how they operate there. Please avoid them at all costs. They will scam you and get upset when you call out the scam. Again, I am very disappointed at the experience I had! Have a great day!

    In 1996 Dwayne rebuilt the transmission on my Audi. We came to Rister's ever since. I cannot remember all the cars, but the two memorable ones are the 2006 Chrysler Town & Country and the 2003 VW Jetta. Jane bought the Town & and Country in 2010; you did all the work on the vehicle until April 2024 when we got the Chrysler Pacifica. I bought the Jetta in 2007; you did all the work on the vehicle until 2018 when I got the Subaru Impreza. The Pacifica and Impreza are regulars in the shop. We will continue to come for all our repair needs. Thank you. Dave Pfeifer

    100% SATISFIED! I called in with a couple of codes from a check engine light, plus some unknown noise and vibration. Derek and team did a very thorough check of the vehicle and communicated a prioritized list of my vehicles issues. They not only covered what was known to me that I asked them to check, but several other areas of the vehicle that needed some maintenance. This was presented as a "you should keep an eye on these, and when you can, get them addressed." It was not a scare tactic or a hard sell. I've taken my vehicles to those places and this isn't that place. They explained the prices and the risks of the other items that I could not afford to fix at the time of this service. I have found my new home for my vehicles to be kept safe and on the road. Thank you Rister team! Thank you Derek for your great communication and speedy work to get me back on the road. -D.H.

    Very satisfied with my experience. Good work at a price that is more than fair. It refreshing to be charged a reasonable amount for parts instead of the standard price hike. I will be back to Rister's in the future whenever I have automotive troubles.
